Ancient Kitchen – Modern Wisdom – €4 drop in Class

classYou may have noticed that I havent run €4 Drop in classes at Aungier Street for a while. Its because they were moving premises. The new ones are much lighter, brighter and more spacious. They arent far from the old ones – Directions, walk up Aungier Street toward Camden St. At the large crossroads take a left. The building is on the right hand side with a full line of glass windows. Address: Greenside House, Cuffe Street.
I thought we could just squeeze a few classes before my clinic closes for the summer so …….. no need to book just come on down. Classes run 10.30-12.30 🙂

6th June – Heart/Small Intestine – Coconut Rice, Pea, Mint and Garlic Soup, Wheat and Oatbran Soda
13th June – Stomach Spleen – Turkish lentil Soup, Herby Millet, Millet Muffins
20th June – Lung/Large Intestine – Ginger Cookies, Shiitake Mushroom Risotto, Baked Garlic Mushrooms

I am a Shiatsu Practitioner specializing in the energy of food in Traditional Chinese Medicine – using what we eat and drink as a source of everyday energy to strengthen and heal. By using this website, you can gain insight into the connection between how you feel and the food you choose

Shiatsu uses comfortable thumb pressure and palming massage to penetrate deeply into the muscles, energy channels and acupuncture points.  I use the Hara to diagnose and treat both physical and emotional conditions.  Shiatsu is a Holistic treatment which diagnoses and treats the root of the problem as well as the manifesting symptoms.


In Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine the body is classified into yin/yang organ pairs and meridian pathways which correspond to emotions, flavours, seasons and colours.  There are no good or bad foods simply foods which do and don’t suit us at this time. It’s all about connecting with the body, seeing what it wants and loving ourselves more.
