Using principles of Chinese Medicine and the 5 elements, we will experience specific foods, stretches, and acupressure points which help with stomach/spleen, cravings, addictions, weight management, and satisfaction. Some of the dishes include;
- Carrot and Courgette Sweet Bread (wheat & gluten free)
- Red date, pear and ginger tea
- Fennel Paella
- Turkish Lentil Soup
- Tahini Kale Crisps

Rest and Restore with Seaweed
3, 4 & 5th January 2020

All seaweeds have health properties. In Chinese Medicine, seaweed is eaten to dissolve bulges and bumps within the body such as goiters, cysts, breast lumps
During this retreat we will focus on the benefit to the Kidney and Bladder in Chinese Medicine, blending food and health practices to relax the nervous system and regenerate the body.
Seaweed can easily be used in foods and eaten every day. During this retreat, David Millard, Marine Biologist
Joanne will then show you how to use seaweed in every day delicious dishes such as curries, quiche, bread, scones, soups, snacks, desserts
She will guide you to balance and wellness, unloading mental stress and physical strains, learning fun and new skills that nourish body and soul.
Shiatsu & Conscious Cooking retreats are always fully booked. I love to work with small intimate, closed groups so there is only a maximum of 14 participants and the single rooms are offered on a first come, first served basis.
